Fratelli Cosulich completes its 1st B100 biodiesel bunkering in Singapore

Italy-based Fratelli Cosulich announced Feb. 24 that its Singapore bunker division successfully completed its first B100 bunker delivery in Singapore.
The IMO Type II chemical bunkering tanker Marta Cosulich, operated by the Fratelli Cosulich Group, delivered 100 percent biodiesel made from used cooking oil to the bulk carrier Nord Argentum owned by Norden.

The milestone was made possible through collaboration between key supply-chain partners, according to Fratelli Cosulich.
These included:
PetCo Trading Labuan Co. Ltd., a trading arm of Petronas.
Mitsui & Co. Energy Trading Singapore Pte. Ltd.
Global shipping company Norden.
Fratelli Cosulich described the event as “an operation that one more time reflects the ongoing dedication of our marine energy unit to support the maritime industry’s low-carbon transition with a fleet of future-ready bunkering tankers.”
