Hill Aircraft, World Fuel Services to provide SAF to Atlanta’s business-jet operators
Hill Aircraft announced recently that it has furthered its commitment in providing sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) through an expanded support agreement with World Fuel Services, making it the first fixed-base operator (FBO) in Georgia to offer dedicated SAF for business-aviation customers.
Under the terms of the agreement, Hill Aircraft will have a consistent supply of SAF provided by World Fuel and an exclusive jet truck for purposes of delivering the alternative fuel product to its customers in Atlanta.
“With Hill Aircraft’s extraordinary history in Atlanta since 1955, we are proud to be an independent FBO taking the lead on SAF,” said Andrew Ash, the vice president and general manager of Hill Aircraft.
“As innovation in the aviation industry evolves and we continue to listen to what our customers’ needs are, we recognize that being able to help reduce carbon emissions is also influencing decisionmakers,” Ash added.
“The investment we are making in alternative jet fuel reaffirms our focus on the future to not only provide the best service possible for our guests, but also our interest to support innovative products we deliver that help meet their needs,” he said.
Located at Fulton County Executive Airport, Hill Aircraft is centrally located within close proximity to all of Atlanta’s major metropolitan destinations and business districts, making it the preferred choice for both domestic and internationally operated flights.
Hill Aircraft is a member of the Air Elite network since 2012 and participant under their carbon-offset program since 2020 through World Kinect Energy Services.
