Neste among global sustainability leaders in Dow Jones Sustainability Indices

Renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) producer Neste has been selected for the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices for the 18th consecutive year.  

The company said this achievement underscores its continual commitment to sustainability and its position as a strong contributor in the transition to a lower-carbon economy and society.   

Neste was included in both the DJSI World and DJSI Europe indices, placing Neste among the top performers in its industry.  

Compared to its industry peer group, the company said it received particularly good results for its performance in areas such as human rights, biodiversity, climate strategy and supply-chain management.

The DJSI is a globally recognized family of indices evaluating thousands of companies based on their economic, environmental and social performance.  

Companies are selected for the DJSI based on a comprehensive assessment by S&P Global through the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment.  

Only the top-ranked companies within each industry are selected for inclusion in the DJSI.  

The assessment this year is based on company performance in 2023.   

Neste said its established leadership in sustainability is recognized also by other leading sustainability ratings and indices such as CDP, Sustainalytics, EcoVadis, MSCI ESG Rating Index and Global 100.
