Pacific Biodiesel to host 3rd Annual Sunflower Farm Music Festival May 4

Pacific Biodiesel announced during National Agriculture Week in March that it is hosting the 3rd Annual Sunflower Farm Music Festival May 4.

“Join us in a field of blooming sunflowers from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at this iconic Maui event that will once again be hosted at the family farm of Pacific Biodiesel founders Bob and Kelly King in Maui’s Central Valley,” the biodiesel production company stated.

Produced by Licorice Pizza Records owner Kerry Brown, this year’s event will benefit Maui-based nonprofits focused on supporting local farming and helping grow Maui’s food security: Maui Hub, Common Ground Collective and Grow Some Good.

“We met Kerry when he jumped in to help with last year’s festival and are so grateful for his offer to produce this year’s event,” said Pacific Biodiesel Co-Founder Kelly King. “While everyone at Pacific Biodiesel works hard to address our state’s food and fuel sustainability issues—and we are thrilled to help the nonprofits on Maui who do the same—music is a love but not our forte! Bob and I are elated to partner with a professional music-festival producer, and such a caring and nice person who has become a close friend and stellar contributor to our community.”

In addition to enjoying great music from a star-studded lineup, attendees will be able to view and photograph the sunflowers, take part in farm tours, visit the on-site farmers market, and enjoy unique food experiences.

General-admission tickets for this benefit event are $100 each.

There is also an exclusive pre-festival dinner “VIP Experience” that will be hosted by Kerry Brown and film producer Stacey Sher May 3 available for $250, which includes admission to the festival the following day.
